Goan Summer Festival 2025 - A Celebration of Culture and Community

Join the Goan Swindon Association for our spectacular Summer Festival on 12th July 2025 from 11:00am to 9:00pm at Stratton Juniors Football Club, Cricklade Road, Swindon SN2 7AS. This special event is being held in aid of the Goan Community Hall project.

Special Religious Celebration
The festival will commence with the Inaugural Mass for Goa Day 2025 at 11:00am, celebrated by our beloved Auxiliary Bishop, Most Rev. Simlao Purificacao Fernandes.

Entertainment & Performances
Experience an incredible lineup of live entertainment featuring:

- Risma & Chanko - Popular musical duo
- NH17 - Dynamic performance group
- Rainbow's End - Live band
- Shades - Musical entertainment
- Surprise cultural programs throughout the day
- Live music and DJ sets
- Traditional Goan performances

Competitions & Activities

- Fancy Dress Competition with Goan Culture theme (separate categories for juniors up to 16 years and seniors above 16 years)
- Art Competition with GOA theme - paintings to be created on the day (advance registration required)
- Play rides and family-friendly activities
- Food stalls featuring delicious Goan cuisine and refreshments

Practical Information

- Entry: £10 per adult
- Children under 16: FREE when accompanied by parents
- Free bus service available for attendees

This is more than just a festival - it's a celebration of our rich Goan heritage, bringing together families and friends for a day of culture, entertainment, and community spirit while supporting the important cause of establishing a permanent Goan Community Hall.
