The Goan Summer Festival 2025 brought together families, friends, and members of the wider community for a wonderful day of celebration, entertainment, and cultural pride in Swindon.
Organised by the Goan Swindon Association in support of the Goan Community Hall Project, the festival showcased the rich traditions, music, food, and community spirit that continue to bring people together year after year.
The day began with the Inaugural Mass for Goa Day 2025, celebrated by Auxiliary Bishop Most Rev. Simlao Purificacao Fernandes, before guests enjoyed a packed programme of live entertainment, cultural activities, competitions, and family attractions throughout the day.
Visitors were treated to performances from Risma & Chanko, NH17, Rainbow's End, and Shades, alongside cultural presentations, live music, DJ entertainment, and a variety of food stalls serving delicious refreshments.
The festival also featured a Goan-themed Fancy Dress Competition, an Art Competition, family activities, rides, and plenty of opportunities for the community to come together and celebrate Goan heritage.
We would like to thank everyone who attended, performed, volunteered, sponsored, and supported the event. Your enthusiasm and participation helped make the Goan Summer Festival 2025 another memorable occasion for our community.
